Speaking at a seminar held in Washington DC and dedicated to finding ways to stabilize the world economy, Dominique Strauss-Kahn said that the recovery of world economy in the form in which it exists now, is not that what the IMF in its imagined. According to IMF Managing Director, the recovery is very fragile and uneven. The main problem amid growing performance remains a constant level of unemployment in many countries. This is especially noticeable in the U.S.. If you continue to ignore this problem, it can turn into a new crisis, whose consequences are difficult to predict. Strauss-Kahn said the return of imbalances in the global economy, such as currency fluctuations, often caused artificially. Once again, noted the need to revise the list of the world's reserve currency. Dominique Strauss-Kahn reminded the participants that at this stage of the global financial crisis is particularly important is international cooperation, without which most efforts may be wasted.
